DONATIONS

Donations general terms

Wildlife Smart Ltd (WSL) is a charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) and accepts donations made by individuals and corporations (the donor). Donations can be set as a one-off payment or as an ongoing subscription.

As of 30 March, 2024 donations to Wildlife Smart Ltd are not tax deductible.

Donations made through www.koalasmart.org.au  are processed in Australia in Australian dollars using a secure payment system.

Confirmation of the donation will be emailed once the donor has completed the donation transaction .

Obligations of donors at time of donation

The donor must ensure that they have selected the correct donor option (for example, a one-off donation, monthly donation) and donation amount at the time of clicking the ‘I agree to Terms and Conditions’ button.  By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions , the donor acknowledges that they have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Payment must be made by credit card which will incur a 2.2% processing fee which is absorbed by Wildlife Smart Ltd.  We do not capture or store your credit card details directly. Instead, we receive authorisation that your credit card payment has been approved. Your credit card details are stored securely by our payment processor in accordance with payment card industry standards.

Disputes and Refunds

While all parties are required to work together, in good faith, all complaints and disputes will be recognised and dealt with in a timely manner.  Notify WSL directly at accounts@koalasmart.org.au as soon as you believe there has been an error with your donation. WSL will work to resolve any problem as soon as practicable.  Please allow 10 business days for the cancellation of any ongoing (e.g. monthly) donations.  All claims for refunds of donations will be considered and assessed by WSL on a case by case basis.

ONLINE SHOPPING

General terms and payment methods

Payment Process: When making purchases in our online shop, the method of payment is credit or debit card. We do not capture or store your credit card details directly. Instead, we receive authorization that your credit card payment has been approved.  In the event of payment default, any resulting fees will be borne by the customer. Goods remain the property of WSL until full payment is received. Items will be shipped to the customer as soon as possible upon WSL receiving cleared full payment.

Prices quoted are in Australian dollars and are correct at the time of online publication.  Prices are subject to change without notice. WSL reserves the right to rectify prices quoted in the invoice if found to be incorrect.

Delivery: Orders to be delivered within Australia are sent via Australia Post via standard rates and require a daytime delivery address and contact details. At this stage, WSL is unable to accept international orders. All goods are promoted in good faith to be available at the time of ordering. Unforeseen problems with supply (including unexpected demand) may result in stock being unavailable. WSL will contact the purchaser to advise.

Returns and refunds: Requests for a refund or replacement of goods purchased must be made within 7 days of the goods being received. The purchaser is responsible for returning the item in its original packaging and shipping charges, unless WSL is responsible for a processing error, or a manufacturing defect has been identified.

Refunds are not provided for reasons such as “change of mind” or “found it cheaper elsewhere” .

Wildlife Smart Ltd will comply with the requirements of Australian Consumer Law.

PRIVACY

Your right to privacy is important to WSL. Our Privacy Policy was created to protect your personal information and outline how we manage information. The Privacy Policy applies to all individuals whose personal information may be collected by WSL.
