Postcard Project

Teachers, supporting staff, and more than 170 students at Coffs Harbour Public school set about creating a community education initiative.

With broader community education in mind, students created four postcards that highlight the four pillars of koala conservation as their Koala Heroes project. These postcards each display a unique artwork created by students. On the reverse side of the post card are QR codes linking information about koala conservation, in Coffs Harbour region community languages including Arabic, Kurdish Kumanji, Gumbaynggirr, Haka Chin and Malay. Postcards were then made available for the community through a variety of local businesses and local government outlets.
